She may only be 19, but the country superstar that has taken America by storm is not letting her age define her. Taylor Swift has already topped the Billboard 200 charts, earned herself a triple - platinum debut, seen a high glamour romance fail and now, is headlining tour. The country star is hitting up nearly every city across the nation from spring through the fall; "Headlining my own tour is a dream come true!" Swift said in a press statement. "This way, I can play more music every night than I ever have before. Having written my own songs, they are all stories in my head, and my goal for this tour is to bring those stories to life." The singer/songwriter jets off in April, starting out in Evansville, Indiana, before she pairs up with Keith Urban for a few dates in June. As Taylor Swift tickets become more popular, remains in all the action as Swift heads out in the real world.

She plans on promoting Fearless, her sophomore effort that has already topped the billboard charts, becoming the tenth longest running album in Billboard history to remain there, and the most for a female country artist. Selling 2.4 million copies to date, the single "Love Story," "White Horse" and "Fearless" are streamlining the country radio stations, following in suit with her debut, writing or co-writing every song on the album. Now not only is the barely legal singer celebrating her first headliner but several award nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Along for the ride is her best friend and writing partner, Kellie Pickler, as her opener, along with the latest country music breakout, Gloriana. "It's going to be really fun just spending the summer with your best friend. [It] solves that issue of ever being bored!" she commented on her MySpace page. Planning her tour for the last three years, Swift is ecstatic about finally setting her plans to reality. "It is unbelievable to me that that is actually happening. But I'm planning the stage, and the wheels are all turning."

She may not be a fairytale princess, but her story has definitely been like something out of Disney storybook. Born and raised in Wyomissing, PA, her first single to hit the top of the charts was named after her country music idol, "Tim McGraw," and just months later she got to perform the single in front of the "Indian Outlaw" singer and his wife during the American Country Music Awards, after which the two artists met for the first time. Since then her singles have been topping the country charts, earning her praise for her vocals and her lyrical technique.

Philadelphia will play host to rising country music star Taylor Swift on two dates in 2010, March’ and’. She will be teaming up with fellow country music darling Kellie Pickler at the Wachovia Center. Pennsylvania is Swift’s home state, so it’s natural for her to want to do more than one show in Philly.

Taylor’s second album, titled “Fearless”, garnered the highest debut of any country album after it’s release in 2008. The album had more than one hit single, including “White Horse” and “Love Story”, and established her as not only a countrymusic star but a rising crossover artist. Her appeal across genres was recognized by the Academy for Country Music for her ability to attract younger fans to country music. Swift was also nominated for country music ’s Entertainer of the Year, the youngest artist to ever accomplish that. Her first two albums are also the highest selling digital downloads in history.

Here are some tips to help learn to play the guitar in the shortest time possible.

1. Rehearse

Practice is not about the quota of time you spend playing the guitar. Rehearse is all about your consistency. Practicing everyday for at least 30 minutes is way more beneficial than practicing for 5 hours non-stop once a week. This is especially right for beginners. In the wake of your lesson, rehearse on your own for thirty minutes. Then repeat everyday until you get used of the instrument. Practicing for short duration of time allows you to rest between sessions and relax. This gives you time to rest your fingers and visualize those finger positions. Beginners also get frustrated easily when practicing singly, so to clear off bad vibes, rehearse for brief periods of time.

2. Warm up

Athletes always stretch their muscles before any games or practices, and you should do the same. Start with the scales. This will also give you time to tune your guitar. These aids ease out the kinks in your hands and fingers and also help you get in the mood for playing or studying your guitar lessons.

3. Set a goal every lesson

Before you begin lessons ask yourself what you want to accomplish and what you are going to do to accomplish this goal. You can only master to play the guitar or any other instrument if you love what you do.
